This used to be the most amazing place. I learned to golf here and have never played another course with such breath-taking scenery and natural beauty. It’s truly heartbreaking to see it in a state of disrepair. The course had so many memorable and unique holes – the 3-4-5 stretch being a personal favorite and like something out of a dream. I can’t imagine this place not eventually being put under competent management and its former glory found again. Truly a gem and a masterpiece of golf course design — almost like it was cut out of the earth by God himself.
